i was reading this, from here and can't stop thinking about james' jacket

personally, i have never been into the whole 'dressing up' my boyfriends/girlfriends thing...

in fact, in most cases i think they've done it to me

james being the most obvious, with his i love you just as you are, however... approach, and the consequent overhaul of my underwear drawer, choice of jeans, shoe collection [which i admit was limited] and hair style

and i get it, i do, they want me to look more feminine, which in theory i don't have a problem with...

it's honestly just that i really can't be bothered!

but anyway, back to james' jacket...

it's bad

really fucking bad

90s-style-stone-washed-kinda-brown-tinted-denim-jacket sort of bad

and whereas i would never dream of telling him to get rid of it, the other night i managed to 'enquire' of it's reason for existence

and apparently he was in some film where he had to look, not badly dressed, but clearly unfashionable and so he asked around his friends if they had any old/shit clothes, and this one guy had started telling him about this hideous denim jacket he had...

so james thinks it'll be perfect and asks to borrow it and the guy says it's so fucking terrible he can just keep it, or chuck it away when the film was done...

then, i can only assume that as soon as james saw it he fell in love with it and has worn it ever since!

i just don't get it, it's so bad and james usually looks so good, it's not even like he doesn't have another, much nicer, black jacket...

i've even forgiven him for the stretchy-left-over-from-going-clubbing-in-the-90s-green/electric blue shirt he wears around the house [and occasionally to the gym] because i rarely have to put up with it...

but the jacket is just everywhere!
