todays accomplishments:
woke up at 12
ate some cereal
watched two episodes of scrubs
had a shower
let ashlie in to collect her basil
did the washing up in my underwear
put the washing machine on
ate a condiment sandwich
some days it's heaven
some days it's hell
i'm pretty sure that i hate being unemployed with no money and no plans...
but there's also a side of me that really can't see herself doing the whole getting-up-and-going-to-work-every-day thing
i've been applying for internships in london
mainly because i love london
then because i'm not qualified for anything else
then because it's not scary like a proper job
and finally because i may someday want to actually pursue a career in art and design, as my cv seems to state
ah well
i think i've been promised a take-away-followed-by-a-pub date tonight, so at least my day won't be completely wasted, like yesterday [and probably the day before and the day before that] when i didn't even leave the house/get dressed
haven't done any art either, other than monday when james wouldn't get out of my bed and therfore justified it by saying i had to draw him [in a naked, sprawled across my bed kind of pose, with his eyes closed, conveniently] which i'm actually glad he did
it wasn't too bad
a bit wonky round his hips, but i blame that on the fact i never draw men, particularly skinny, pointy-hip-boned men
so it's good to know i haven't lost all artistic skill in however many weeks it is since i last picked up a pencil
guess it's like riding a bike
another thing i haven't done in a very long time...
