today some random asda employee said hello to me, in an incredibly enthusiastic manner, so i smiled widely and said hello back
how's it going? he asked, and i said brilliant or wonderful or something equally sarky, holding up two of the blocks of cheese i had been forced into stacking for the last hour, for emphasis...
and then, for some reason he looked genuinely concerned for me and said with his head slightly to the side, i guess it's just one of those days, smiled at me again and then went about his business
i don't think i've ever met a nicer person
i also don't think he's ever had one of those days...
