three things that made me happy this week:
1] fitting into a size 12 dress [albeit a hideously blue, slightly nurse-like shirt-dress-thing, for this terrible fancy dress event that i don't want to go to, on sunday] and still looking alright in it after i took it up at the bottom a good two inches
2] finding someone who realises there's a lot more to bondage than a pair of handcuffs and bad sex
note to self: must get him to teach me those knots... for some reason they don't teach you *that* in boy scouts
3] reading this marvellous analogy of unrequited love:
it's like if you love ice cream but your ice cream man friend won't give you any. maybe he's got a good reason. it cuts into profits. who knows? but he likes you as a friend and wants to hang out anyway. it just drives you crazy to hang out with that dude, even if he's being reasonable from his point of view. so don't hang out with him. what, you only like ice cream? it's ice cream or nothing? don't be an asshole. learn to love donuts.
