v for... very good? x

2009-11-06 - 4:54 p.m.

last night i gave/received a backwards hug

it was good

not too sure who the other participant was though

oh well

yesterday was beyond amazing!

have you ever had a day where things just work out, like [without sounding too hippy] they were meant to happen?

well everything yesterday went according to [and often better than] plan

i walked straight into waterstones and picked up a brand new copy of 'v for vendetta' since i've never actually owned it, then was just in time for my train without any kind of planning, navigated my way through london and found the gallery without too much effort...

the exhibition was amazing

['take care of yourself' was stunning and completely overwhelming, i spent hours taking it all in, then upstairs they had 'the sleepers' which i adore]

decided against the turner prize for a number of reasons:

£8 entry fee
spent too much time with my darling sophie
it's all gash anyway

went back to charing cross station, wandered around vaguely wondering where to eat, before finding a pretty little place called leon's where i had the most amazing chicken and chorizo wrap with a green tea

then i got a bit tourist-y

then i walked to the ica, got an awesome seat by chance, met a very enthusiastic guy called joe, a very french guy called peter and a very pretty girl called something i don't remember [though i think she said it meant 'courage' in sanskrit], talked art/music/comics/politics and drank a lot of pints and fucking loved every minute of it

then i got a bit fangirl-y and nearly missed my train because of it

but i ran like hell and just made it and even got back in time for another couple of pints in the lady luck with ross, tom, the backwards hugging guy and someone very familiar:

[and i take back everything negative i ever said about camera-phones]
